Man, I hope so. And a true sequel would be wonderful as well. The "Heart of the Alien" game wasn't too good, if memory serves. Eric Chai's later game, "Heart of Darkness," was great, but not related to Another World in anything more than gameplay.

There was an official high def remake, released by Eric Chahi himself, but it kept true to the original, cel-shaded style. Which, really, I think suits the game just fine.

It's a cool interpretation, but the original visual style is so strong already!

I hope this means OffWorld is finally done writing "ONE SHOT" on all these kind of posts.

Put more favorites on this one, everybody. We need more of this.

From polygons to paintstrokes! Faved. (Bug: if not logged in, clicking the heart does nothing. It should prompt me to sign in and for some reason, my sessions here aren't very persistent.)

Anyone else remember Aegis Animator? You could DIY your own Out of This World-like sequences with it. Great fun on my Amiga 500, even moreso when I upgraded from 512KB to 1MB. I'd say those were the days but really, aching with those resource constraints, they weren't quite... altho I'd be open to revisiting that artform.
