While the pieces in the body look like LEGO, the pieces in the head are actually American Plastic Bricks or Playskool Building Bricks or some variant.
We had a set of these bricks when I was a child. I remember the flat shape of the bricks, and the shape of the ramp pieces, but had to search to remember what they were called.
