One shot: This #fezfriday, don't call it a POW Block

But admits creator Phil Fish, "It wouldn't be a videogame without some sort of explosive crate!"

You over-cover "Fez Friday." At the least, you shouldn't devote a post to something as banal as this. Fez has charmed the indie enthusiast media basically on the strength of a cute art style and nothing more. Yes, it looks pretty -- the style's a pretty good take on the Cave Story look. But don't make yourself the Fez hype machine.
Give us another Fez post when and if the game finally comes out. Till then, your and our attentional resources can be better spent.

Fez has charmed the indie enthusiast media because those of us that've played it know that there's a lot more to it than simply a cute art style, and doing one-off #fezfriday posts has taken a grand total of about six minutes of my time and attention over the past three weeks -- and likely exponentially less reader time.
But you're right, it does have the bonus effect of putting large, pretty pixels on my website, which is something I like to do as much as I can.
