Video: The kills of an especially effective Left 4 Dead hunter
If you can ignore the cheeseball techno, this video from the "Dx" Left 4 Dead clan shows how terrifyingly effective the Hunter zombie can be in Vs. multiplayer. I've hardly ever played the zombies in multi (and am in fact at the moment getting my mutilation fix in Resident Evil 5), but now I have a hankering to fire up L4D soon.

Some very good technique, especially for the diagonal and vertical climbing. A lot of footage comes from maps that haven't been officially released for versus yet, though. Plus the high-damage pounce at the top of the NM5 ladder, which they show twice, involves climbing an invisible wall and is therefore an exploit in need of patching.

Yep, and 3d person view is also kind of exploit.
And in same cases it's quite visible that the attack won't have any substantial outcome - the Hunter will be pounced off and killed.
I would say that the best one is where 4 hunters attack from the elevator - that's what a real attack of infected is.

Though again: 4 hunters at a time won't happen normally, only through exploiting.

It's easy to be good when you cheat! Many of those clips involve getting into areas of the map that you're not supposed to be able to get into, not just the NM5 ladder clip.
