I've been going to the IGF Awards and Choice Awards for several years now - and this was by FAR the best show I've been to! The graphics on the huge LED Screen were amazing! The lighting and setups and everything were just intense! I love the opening of the IGF!!! Anyone know who did it?

Dawnrunner Productions created the graphics for both the IGF and GDC award shows... and more specifically two of us (myself included) at Dawnrunner created 95% of the graphics.
This was our first awards show, but as a former theatrical tech director-now-filmmaker and motion graphics artist I wanted to try something really big and I'm very glad you liked it. In case anyone was wondering, we had been working on the designs for the award shows graphics from the concept stages in last October right up to the show last week so it has been quite a long process.
The crew at Dawrunner Productions is full of gamers, so this was more than just another project for us. It was really a special feeling to be a part of the game world even though we're not developers.
