More Meggy Jr. mini-masterpieces: Make magazine's Dot

Thanks to commenter Hohum for pointing us toward another wicked looking game for Evil Mad Scientist's Meggy Jr RGB DIY handheld gaming kit, following yesterday's work in progress rogue-like from Darius Kazemi.

Collin Cunningham over at Make Magazine has put together Dot, a simple dodge-em-up game which looks about twenty times sexier than it would on any other platform if only for the way those LED pixels shimmer, and take a long look at the behind-the-hardware Arduino coding process.

Cunningham also points to this Google Code repository of other games currently packaged with the Meggy Jr's SDK, which has emboldened that much more my resolve to get one of the units in my hot little hands as soon as I can.

Four days late, but you're welcome!

I realize now the ambiguity of my previous comment - I meant that I was four days late to reading this post..!

Also, if anyone happens to be watching this, Darius has posted many more videos of the roguelike including monsters that move about, combat, and most recently moving between dungeons.
