Grok this: Receptors' Korg DS-10 album

Following the last in our impromptu and now apparently ongoing series of Korg DS-10 showcases, I was pointed in the direction of Receptors' all DS-10 album 'groKwork,' available as a free download via last.fm (along with a number of other more traditionally chippy EPs).
Receptors is the solo alias of Jeremy Kolosine, the curator behind Astralwerks' excellent all-star/all-chiptune Kraftwerk cover album 8-bit Operators, and while groKwork is a bit harder and more dense than my usual predilection, it is a good starter set for those wondering just what the DS is capable of churning out.

The DS is an amazing little machine and the Korg DS-10 is one nifty cart. I would recommend it to anyone that's musically inclined but that's afraid of your typical "real" instruments. There's a bit of a leaning curve but you can limit yourself to doing sequencing work for the most part, then play around with the sounds, and then investigate the kaoss pad. Oh yeah, don't forget to visit my korg ds-10 blog at http://korgds-10.blogspot.com !
oh yeah, forgot to say that the DS-10+ is about to be released in the US of A (february 2010). Obviously, you'll the DSi to run the thing. Check out Korg DS-10 Home for DS-10 related stuff.
That sounds like a great idea to get it going. Auto transporting rates wants to know more about this awesome idea.
